Cast Off!!!

Colby got his cast off this Thursday!! He was so scared of the saw before we went. He kept saying," will you sit with me?" and "I am going to close my eyes." Then when the time came, the nurse told him that it would tickle and he laughed the whole time she sawed it! He really has been such a good boy with this cast on. He has been super careful not to get it wet, and on Wednesday he had water day at preschool. We wrapped it up really good, but it still got wet from Colby doing cannon balls in the baby pool! It got pretty stinky that day, but we didn't care b/c it was off the next morning! Sweet Freedom! I was surprised to see that he had not really lost any range of motion. He told me that his wrist felt "stuffy" and was "hurting all over." He is beginning to use his left hand again! Let's hope we don't have anymore broken bones!
